Valentine’s Day Outfits

Posted on

It’s almost Valentine’s Day – that Hallmark holiday that I like to use as an excuse to dress up in one of my favorite colors and drink lots of wine (although what DON’T I use as an excuse to drink wine?). I put together some outfits for those in a relationship, and an outfit for those single people who want to buck the norm – throw an anti-Vday party and have fun being single!

The Sexy Red Dress

I love this outfit. The dress is bold and sexy, and the gold keeps the look fiery. I have a thing for red, so I love being able to wear so much of it.

The Sweet Pink Dress

Maybe red isn’t your jam. Maybe you’re a little sweeter quieter and want something a bit less in-your-face. I think this pink dress is great – not too bold, but still gorgeous, and the black accents make it pop.

The Classy White Look

Ok, I’m not normally one for white, but I came up with this and I love it. Everything about it looks conservative, clean and crispy, but the overall look is sexy. I think the form-fitting sheath dress and super-high heels add some serious sex appeal, but this is a great outfit to wear to just about anywhere.

The Anti-Valentine’s Dress

Not in a relationship or just don’t like the holiday? Throw on this outfit, throw an Anti-Vday Party or just go out for drinks…the night before! In How I Met Your Mother, Robin boycotts V-Day with her friends by wearing purple and I’ve always liked the symbolism of that. Purple is underrated anyway, and look how pretty it is!

How are you celebrating Valentine’s day? Any of these outfits inspire you?
